About Allante
Allanté Burnell is a dedicated and compassionate Limited Licensed Psychologist who brings warmth, insight, and clinical expertise to her work with children, teens, and adults. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Allanté is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s most difficult challenges with resilience and self-compassion.
Allanté received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, and her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She continued her education by gaining a specialized certificate as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). Her therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, blending evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Mindfulness practices, trauma focused therapy modalities, and strengths-based strategies to support healing, growth, and emotional balance.
Clients appreciate Allanté’s ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel seen and understood. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, mood disorders, life transitions, racial identity/trauma, and gender-based identity-related concerns. Her work is grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal when given the right tools, support, and space to explore their truth.
When she’s not working with clients, Allanté enjoys gardening, spending time with family, participating in outdoor activities, and exploring creative outlets that feed her spirit.
